The brake master cylinder is the main control device in the automobile driving brake system.
1.Function:
It transfers the brake fluid to each brake cylinder to push the piston, so as to provide providing assistance for the automobile brake.
2.Structure:
Mainly consists of shell, piston, return spring, sealing cup, liquid storage pot (oil pot)and other components.
3.Working Principle:
When the driver steps on the foot pedal, the force exerted by the foot causes the piston in the brake master cylinder to push the brake fluid forward and generate pressure in the oil circuit. The pressure is transmitted to the brake cylinder piston of each wheel through the brake fluid. The piston of the brake sub-pump then pushes the brake pad outward, causing friction between the brake pad and the inner surface of the brake drum, and generating enough friction to reduce the speed of the wheels to achieve the purpose of braking.
