Any of these signs could indicate that the master cylinder is broken.
•If you keep your foot firmly on the pedal, the deceleration will continue to fall.
•The brakes feel like they don't always come off.
•A brake pedal, and when you push on it, it sometimes feels like it breaks free.
•Brake fluid is wet around the booster or main cylinder body.
•This is especially true when one reservoir is lower than another.
•When you hit the brake, the brake warning light lights up.
•There is a separate braking system between the front and rear wheels.
•If one of the systems leaks, a sensor that measures the pressure between the two systems turns on a light.
•Most of these signs can also cause wheel cylinder, which is the more common case.
