Brake Master Cylinder Produces Braking Function

The brake master cylinder is provided with a reservoir for storing brake oil, and below it is a live zhidao plug and oil inlet and outlet in the cylinder. When the brake is stepped on, the piston is pushed by the brake pedal in the cylinder, and then acts back through the push rod to transfer the brake oil pressure in the cylinder to the brake cylinders of each wheel to produce a braking function. When the brake pedal is released, the oil outlet in the brake master pump will be closed and the oil inlet will be opened, so that the brake oil will return from each brake cylinder to the brake master cylinder and return to the original state.

Composition: The main matching part of the hydraulic brake master cylinder. There is a tank for storing brake oil on the top, and a piston in the cylinder below.

Working principle: When the driver depresses the foot pedal, the force of the foot will cause the piston in the brake master cylinder to push the brake fluid forward and generate pressure in the oil circuit. The pressure is transmitted to the brake cylinder piston of each wheel via the brake oil, and the piston of the brake cylinder pushes the brake pads outward, causing friction between the brake pads and the inner surface of the brake drum, and generating sufficient friction to reduce the speed of the wheels. In order to achieve the purpose of braking.

Classification: The brake master cylinder is divided into two categories: pneumatic brake master cylinder and hydraulic brake master cylinder.

Applicable models: Air-pressure brake master cylinder is mainly used in heavy-duty trucks (such as heavy trucks, large passenger cars, engineering vehicles) and some agricultural vehicles;

The hydraulic brake master cylinder is mainly used in small cars (such as cars, vans, small trucks, small passenger cars) and some agricultural vehicles.

Function: The brake master cylinder is the main control device in the vehicle service brake system, and realizes the sensitive follow-up control during the braking process and the release process of the dual-circuit main brake system.
