Abstract
Sometimes there will be poor braking effect when the car is running, especially for some cars without anti-lock braking system, the structure is relatively simple, and there are many phenomena of soft brakes and poor braking effect. This article discusses the situation of poor braking effect, and summarizes 6 factors that may affect the braking effect.
We check each of the procedures according to the braking process.
1.Bake Master Cylinder
The internal seal of the brake master cylinder is poor, and the pressure is relieved.

2.Brake Fluid
The quality of the brake fluid is poor, the boiling point is low, and air bubbles are generated when braking.

3.Brake System
There is a leak in the brake system, the system cannot maintain pressure, and air enters the brake system, resulting in poor braking effect. For example, there is a crack in the oil pipe, and the screw is not tightened.

4.Brake Caliper
The free gap of the brake caliper is too large, so that the gap to be compensated during braking is large, causing the braking to lag and the braking effect to be poor.

5.Relatively Special Circumstances
The brake fluid used is not of the same brand and type as the original brake fluid. A chemical reaction has occurred between the two, producing corrosive substances that corrode the aprons at the master cylinder and sub-cylinder, causing the master cylinder or The sub-pump seal is poor, resulting in pressure relief.
Summarize
If the braking effect is poor,
1. First, check whether the brake fluid used is the same brand and model that meets the requirements of the original factory. If not, replace all parts of the brake system involving brake fluid according to the manufacturer's requirements, and then add brake fluid that meets the requirements, otherwise it may cause the brake system to suddenly fail while driving, posing serious safety hazards.
2. If there is no problem with the brake fluid, check the brake system for leaks and exhaust the brake system thoroughly.
3. If the fault cannot be eliminated after exhausting, it is likely that the newly replaced brake master cylinder has quality problems and the internal pressure is relieved. It is recommended to replace the brake system spare parts of the original accessories to ensure the safety of our personal and property.
4. Check whether the caliper is installed in place. If the free space is too large, it will prolong the effective time of the brake.
Finally, we all know that braking plays an important role in the running of a car. Many accidents are caused by poor braking effect or brake failure. Therefore, we must not be negligent during maintenance and must be taken seriously.
