Common Symptoms of a failing clutch release bearing

Feb 08, 2021 Leave a message

1.       Strange noise

A worn bearing can produce rattling noises. It is typical for drivers to hear a grinding or rattling sound when pressing down on the clutch pedal if the release bearing is bad.

2.       Difficulty changing gears

If the bearing lacks proper lubrication, the clutch may not be released completely, resulting in difficulty in shifting.

3.       Pedal vibration

A worn release bearing can cause the clutch pedal to vibrate. This is because the worn bearing cannot distribute uniform pressure to the clutch plate, resulting in uneven contact with the pressure plate.

Therefore, it is important to pay attention to how poor bearing release can affect your car's performance so that you can perform maintenance and repair procedures immediately. The longer the release bearing does not work properly, the more severe the symptoms-therefore, the price will be higher!
