Pay Attention To These Signs When Braking! Very Dangerous!

Dec 17, 2020 Leave a message

The brake is undoubtedly the most important part of the whole car

Even more important than the engine

The engine is broken, you can't move forward at best

But the brake is broken and I can’t stop the car

What would you do if you encounter this situation?

Jump off the car?

Or pull the handbrake?

There are still people

Open the door and use the foot brake!

Any reasonable person knows that this is definitely not right!

Doing so will only cause an irreparable tragedy...

Braking is no small matter

The following signs of brake "failure"

Weak brakes

This situation is generally caused by the loss of pressure in the transmission pipeline when the pressure is provided. Check whether the vacuum booster hose of the brake master cylinder and the interface of the engine are cracked or loose.

Brakes shaking

This situation mostly occurs on old car bodies that have been driven for many years. Because of the large wear and tear, the surface flatness of the brake discs has been inaccurate to a certain extent. It can be solved by polishing the brake disc or directly replacing the brake disc.

The brake pedal does not return

If this happens, it cannot be normal. Under normal circumstances, the cause of this problem is that the brake master cylinder or wheel cylinder may have oil leakage, or the brake master cylinder and wheel cylinder failure caused the pedal to sink. In addition, it is also possible that the bearings of a certain shaft are worn, lacking oil, or damaged. If the bearing is damaged, the whole car will be uncoordinated. The brake pads may appear in an inappropriate position, causing the brake pedal to not return.

The brakes become hard or soft

It is normal that the brake pedal is hard when the vehicle is stopped, because the vacuum booster pump is not working yet. If the pedal is still hard after the vehicle is started, it is likely that the vacuum tube is leaking or the vacuum pump is broken. If the brakes are found to be soft while driving, it is a very dangerous signal! This may mean that there is air in the brake fluid pipeline or the brake fluid is leaking, and you need to pull over immediately and go to the shop for repairs.

The steering wheel deflects to one side when braking

When braking, because the brake disc rotates fast, it is difficult for us to feel the partial brake, but when the vehicle is about to stop, the difference is more obvious. The wheel on the faster side stops first, and the steering wheel will deflect. This is because the left and right sub-cylinders of the brake system have an uneven effect on the brake pads. In this case, the sub-cylinders should be replaced in time.
