Precautions for installation and maintenance of brake master cylinder:
1. When newly installing the master cylinder, the push rod should be carefully inserted into the groove of the piston. Pay attention to the coaxiality of the piston and the push rod. For the master cylinder with booster, the empty depth of the piston rod of the front cavity must be measured before replacement. It can only be replaced when it is the same as the old brake master cylinder. Of course, it can be replaced by the same model. The above steps!
2. After replacing the new master cylinder, the original brake fluid must be completely drained, and the new qualified brake fluid of the same specification should be replaced. Try not to mix the old and new or different brands, otherwise it will damage the brake master cylinder.
3. Add proper amount of brake oil to the oil cup, step on the brake plate, about 2/3 stroke, back and forth several times, each time interval 5 seconds (depending on the situation, can be adjusted according to work experience), try to make the inner cavity of the master cylinder Full of brake fluid, for forklifts this can be adjusted by the cylinder.
4. When connecting the brake master cylinder oil pressure pipeline (please pay attention to check whether the brake oil pipe joint and master cylinder outlet thread specifications are the same), you must check the seal between the master cylinder and the connecting oil pipe joint.
5. Step on the brake pad many times, with an interval of 5 seconds each time (appropriate according to work experience), and exhaust the air in the pump at the bleed screw of the master cylinder and the sub-pump until no bubbles emerge, be sure to drain (yes) ), There is no bleed screw on the master cylinder, and it can be exhausted on the sub-cylinder).
6. Adjust the clearance of the brake drum and the stroke of the master cylinder and the cylinder, and add an appropriate amount of brake oil to the oil cup.
7. Only after debugging the performance of the master cylinder and the connection of the oil pipes, can the vehicle be driven. Must be safe and rational operation, timely maintenance, reduce unnecessary maintenance costs.
