Whether the Hepang pump replaces the assembly or only the pump cup is up to the situation. If there are no obvious scratches and corrosion on the inner wall of the pump barrel, only the leather cup can be replaced, otherwise the assembly should be replaced. If the master pump and the sub-pump are replaced at the same time, the sub-pump should be replaced first and then the master pump. Be fully prepared and move quickly.
First fill the prepared new pump with hydraulic oil
Then quickly remove the centrifugal pump and install a new one (the best is to work together).
Turn the cylinder bleed bolt upwards, loosen the cylinder bolt, push the cylinder piston inward to overflow the air in the cylinder, and tighten the cylinder bolt. Note that it is best not to exhaust by stepping on it. If you just want to replace the leather cup, you should install the leather cup on the piston of the separately found pump. After removing the damaged piston, quickly install the new one. Note that when removing and installing the piston, the pump port should be facing upward to prevent hydraulic oil from leaking out.
Leakage of the master cylinder indicates that the upper cup of the master cylinder is damaged; insufficient pressure of the pump oil indicates that the lower cup of the piston is damaged. Under normal circumstances, just replace the leather cup according to the situation. When replacing, remove the two fixing bolts of the master cylinder, pull out the master cylinder a little, remove the piston retaining snap ring on the pump barrel with retractable snap ring pliers, pull out the piston, take out the lower leather cup, and quickly replace the new Replace the parts, and push the piston back and forth with the push rod to expel the air, pump more hydraulic oil, and then replace the snap ring. Before installing the master cylinder, be sure to adjust the master cylinder push rod to the shortest position, and then fix it, step back and forth on the clutch pedal, and slowly adjust the master cylinder push rod until the clutch is completely disengaged. At this time, it should be noted that there should be a 3-4mm gap between the separation bearing and the separation lever, and the free stroke of the pedal is 30-40mm. If you must replace the master pump assembly, you should first remove the oil outlet pipe, connect the new pump, then remove the oil pipe, and quickly install it on the new pump. Note that after removing the oil outlet pipe, plug the oil outlet of the old pump with a plug to prevent oil leakage; when removing the oil pipe, the oil inlet pipe can be clamped with pliers to prevent the hydraulic oil in the oil pot from leaking out. After the master cylinder is installed, use the push rod to push the piston back and forth to pump out the hydraulic oil. The push rod should also be shortened before fixing.
