The grease we use when assembling master cylinders and wheel cylinders is a semi-solid substance, as we can see in the picture. The grease is a synthetic oil thickened with a soap-based thickener and added with various additives such as anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion. It meets the Q∕SR 088-2008 standard.
Effect:
1. It plays the role of lubrication and protection between the leather cup and metal of the automobile hydraulic brake system. It can prevent the seal from drying out.
2. It can prolong the service life of brake cylinders and clutch cylinders.
3. It can prevent metal rust or corrosion.
4. Applying it to the pushrod can keep the pushrod moving at the center of the circle and then reduce the wear of the rubber during mechanical movement.
Advantage:
1. It has good compatibility with brake fluid and does not contain any undesirable changes to the composition of brake fluid.
2. Good colloid stability to ensure stable lubrication and sealing of the parts used.
3. Good compatibility of EPDM rubber, good compatibility with rubber cups, swelling or shrinking within a suitable tolerance range.
4. Good water resistance, suitable for use in humid environments.
